The Holy Places to Visit in Madinah
During pilgrimages, Muslims often

1. Al-Masjid Al-Nabwi

offered here is equivalent to offering 1000 prayers in any other mosque. A

2. The Quba Mosque
The first mosque of Islam is Masjid Quba. Which is one of the important
places to visit during Hajj and Umrah. It was founded by Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH) himself after migrating from Makkah to Medina. Therefore, it has a high
position among Muslims. Many people take this mosque as the third most important
shrine in Saudi Arabia. It can accommodate 20,000 worshippers and comprises a
total of 56 domes and 4 minarets.
3. Jannat Ul Baqi
It is a graveyard in Madina City that is also referred to as the “Garden

family members are buried in this location. The first person to be buried in
this cemetery was Asad Bin Zararah (R.A). It is said that the cemetery was

4. Mount Uhud
Since it is one of the most well-known places in Madina city. Most
pilgrims performing the Hajj and Umrah visit it. The mount is well recognized

5. Masjid Al-Qiblatain
