How Did The Holy Prophet Acquire Land For Masjid Nabawi?
No doubt, Masjid Nabawi is one of
the sacred places on earth after Makkah for every Muslim. Many Hajj and Umrah pilgrims go to
Saudi Arabia every year. You can also avail of Umrah package 2023 to explore this holy site. Here is a
historical background of Masjid Nabawi is mentioned.
Masjid Nabawi is the core of Madinah. At the point when the mosque was first settled by the Prophet (P.B.U.H.), it was substantially more than a spot where prayers were performed five times each day.
Migration
to Madinah
After numerous long times of abuse on account of the
Meccans, in the year 1 A.H. (622 CE), the Muslim people group started their
movement to Madinah, which was recently known as Yathrib. The two most
unmistakable Medinan clans, the Banu Aws and Banu Khazraj joined in their help
of the Prophet (P.B.U.H.) and respected the voyager Muslims, known as the
Muhajirun (The Emigrants), with great joy. The Muslim occupants of Madinah came
to be known as the Ansar (The Helpers). Mus'ab ibn Umair showed them the
occupants of Islam I, who was sent by the Prophet (P.B.U.H) to Madinah as a
minister.
The Prophet (P.B.U.H) and his nearest companion, Abu
Bakr al-Siddiq, were among the remainder of the network to make the Migration
to Madinah and their appearance in the city denoted the start of another time.
Finally, Prophet (P.B.U.H) and his companion Abu
Bakr al-Siddiq arrived at the edges of Madinah following eight days of the
movement, navigating approximately 200 miles (320 km). He landed on
Monday twelfth Rabi al-Awwal.
Entering
In Madinah
Before entering Madinah, the Prophet (P.B.U.H)
landed at a spot called Quba among the clan of Banu Amr canister Auf and
manufactured the principal mosque in that area. As the Prophet (P.B.U.H)
entered the city, he was invited by the happy Muslim people group who had
gathered, quietly and excitedly awaiting his appearance.
Each Muslim family hoped he would remain with them,
so vast was their affection for him (P.B.U.H). As he moved to towards the south
of Madinah, the occupants of the city would grab hold of the strap of al-Qaswa,
his she-camel, with the expectation that they could convince him to remain with
them. The Prophet (P.B.U.H) educated them to allow the to camel choose.
He
stated:
Release her way, for she is under the direction of
Allah.
Al-Qaswa proceeded until she at long last stopped
and bowed down at a large walled patio claimed by two youthful vagrant
siblings, Sahl and Suhail L, who were under the guardianship of As'ad ibn
Zurarah I. The two young men were the children of Nafia ibn Umar ibn Thalabah
al-Najar I.
Land
Bought for Masjid Nabawi
In any case, the Prophet (P.B.U.H) judged that the
area was perfect for his masjid and his home. The young men were offered to
bless the land to the Prophet (P.B.U.H) out of their affection for him. All
things considered, they were given 10 dinars by Abu Bakr al-Siddiq.
After acquiring the land, the Prophet (P.B.U.H)
requested the graves to be unearthed, the greenery to be cleared and a mosque
to be fabricated. It was done, and the land was levelled until it was made
reasonable for development. The mosque was to turn into the focal centre point
of the Medinan people group where strict parties would occur.
[Narated in Sunan Ibn Majah]
In the wake of landing, the Prophet (P.B.U.H)
remained in the place of the extraordinary friend, Abu Ayyub al-Ansari I. He
lived on the ground floor until his own home, contiguous Masjid Nabawi had
been constructed.
The area of this mosque has been widened several
times in history. It has been to thousands of square feet. Ramadan is the
best time to visit the mosque when thousands of pilgrims book the Ramadan Umrah package to perform Umrah.
Also performing Umrah in Ramadan is equal to Hajj.
