Hajj is an amazing religious journey that every Muslim wants to perform before he dies.
Hajj is an important act of worship that takes man near to his Lord. Hajj is a compulsory religious duty that is mandatory on each Muslim once in a lifetime who is physically, financially capable. Hajj cleanses the person from internally when he performs the Hajj with a pure intention for the sake of Allah.
Hajji (pilgrim) shows that he is dependent on Allah for everything, he is nothing without Him (Allah). Hajji asks forgiveness and makes prays in front of Allah (who is a creator of this whole universe) in His house.

1: 5th Pillar of Islam-

2: Hajj Is A Mandatory Worship-

Hajj is a mandatory act of worship that is compulsory on every Muslim at least once in his life.
“And Hajj to the House (Baitullah) is a duty that mankind be indebted to Allah, those who can afford the expenses and whoever distrusts, then Allah stands not in need of any of the Alamin [mankind, jin, and all that exists].”

3: Who is Hajji (Pilgrim)?

The lucky people whom Allah SWT invites to His house, to perform Hajj are called Hajjis. Being called a Hajji is a moment of proud so some people even add the title in front of their name to denote their success.

4: When Hajj comes?

Unlike Umrah Hajj happens in the last month of Islamic Lunar Calendar Dahul Haijja, from 8th to 12th Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) said:
There are no days in which just deeds are more beloved to Allah than 10 days.

5: Ihram-




During the Hajj, men and women have to wear a special dress called Ihram. Ihram is 2 piece cloth which color is white. 
Ihram consists of 2 sheets in which 1st covers the upper body and 2nd covers the lower body. Men are required to wear Ihram while the women are required to wear a normal dress along with Hijab.

6: Arafat-



Mount Arafat is a holy mount where our beloved Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) delivered His final address in which He preached the people each and every matter about life. He (Peace Be Upon Him) preached how men should have to treat women and give the message of unity that all Muslims are brothers to each other and they should have to stay united.

7: Jamarat-



Jamarat is the 3 walls that are situated close to each other. It is a place where the devil tried to mislead Prophet Ibrahim (AS) against obeying Allah’s instruction. At that time Prophet Ibrahim (AS) revolted him by throwing stones at him and he went away. Therefore Muslims follow this ritual during the Hajj. Millions of Muslims stone the 3 walls at the place of Jamarat.

8: Udhiya is also called as Qurbani, a part of Hajj that comes after the stoning. Muslims sacrifice sheep, cows, camels, and goats. The meat of these animals is divided into poor and needy people and also given to the countries that face hunger.

9: Tawaf Al Wida-

Tawaf Al-Wida is performed by Hajji after completing the Hajj. Tawaf is an act in which Hajjis walk around the Kaaba inside Al-Haram mosque 7 times. One Tawaf is complete after doing seven circles. Hajjis perform Tawaf Al-Wida before leaving the Holy City of Makkah.

10: Prophet (PBUH) Perform Hajj and Umrah In His Life?

Our Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) performed only 1 Hajj and 4 Umrahs in His life.


Last year (2019) over three million Hajjis performed the Hajj and hopefully, a large number of Muslims will also perform the Hajj through Cheap Hajj Packages 2023.
