What Is Umrah Mabroor Every Muslim Must Know


The ʿUmrah (Arabic: عُمرَة‎‎) is an Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Hijaz, Saudi Arabia, performed by Muslims that can be undertaken at any time of the year, in contrast to the Ḥajj (Arabic: حَـجّ‎‎) which has specific dates according to the Islamic lunar calendar. In Arabic, 'Umrah means "to visit a populated place."
Being able to perform Hajj is a blessing for all Muslims. Allah has guaranteed an extraordinary reward for Hajj Mabroor – for the Prophet (SAW) said as written in Sahih Bukhari:
“There is no reward for Hajj Mabroor except Paradise.”

Nearly 2 million pilgrims performed Umrah since the start of Ramadan

  Riyadh : Close to 2 million Muslims from around the world have performed Umrah at the Grand Mosque in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Saudi Arabia since the start of the holy month of Ramadan on April 2, 2022, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. “Since the beginning of the first day of the holy month of Ramadan until the tenth day of Ramadan, nearly two million pilgrims have bought Ramadan Umrah Packages and were delegated to the Grand Mosque in line with the precautionary measures,” Osama bin Mansour, the deputy head of the Presidency General for Affairs of the two holy Mosques for congregation management said.
