Nowadays selfies very famous

What is selfie

A selfie is a self-portrait photograph, typically taken with a hand-held digital camera or camera phone. Selfies are often shared on social networking services such as Facebook, Instagram, Snap chat,  and Twitter. They are usually flattering and made to appear casual. Most selfies are taken with a camera held at arm’s length or pointed at a mirror, rather than by using a self-timer.

Try to Avoid selfie during performing Umrah

There are two conditions for any act of worship to be accepted by Allah
1. That it is performed for Allah alone (Ikhlaas – Sincerity) and
2. That is performed as per the way of the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad(S.A.W).

Nowadays Muslims are taking photographs so commonly during their Hajj & Umrah as if it is a mandatory part of Hajj & Umrah. like a rukun.
This is one of the most important times during a Muslim life, so everyone must try to benefit from these golden time, and it is better to give everything else up.

We Muslims are totally going in a diversion and does not realize the value of time while in the Holy places and specifically right in Haram/Holy Kaaba and Masjid-e-Nabwi. Instead of taking the importance of each and every min doing dua and Ibadaah, a lot of people busy in taking snapshots from every angle. And the worst part that even during Umrah rituals like Tawaf/Sayee people taking photos.

Save your memories
  • On the other hand, we like to have some photos or movies from our memoirs during the Hajj or Umrah so the best way is that first we completely do our rituals and then do other things in a short time.
  • Memories are the best time of our life for a Muslim it is very memorable time but the main thing, first of all, we fulfil the all Hajj and Umrah rituals, then make a more memory with visiting places pic capturing etc.

Photographing in Mecca and Medina

Photography is not banned inside the Haramayn, it's only banned inside the Women's section in the Madinah Haram (Alhamdulillah !), but it would be a great idea for the Haramayn authorities to put a total ban on it. People would concentrate solely on Ibadah then.

The most annoying aspect of the Haramayn is the number of people trying to take pictures there. There are camera flashlights coming from every direction. Everywhere, you find people putting their cameras in front of your face, taking photos & videos, posing for dozens of pictures in the Mataaf, near the Maqaame Ibraahim, near the Zamzam well, you name it, they're there.

Individuals walk right amidst others doing tawaf just to make a go of the Kaabah. Some people are so busy capturing photos & videos of the Kaabah while performing Tawaaf that they not only slow down their pace and that of the other pilgrims likewise they don't see ahead, thus causing harm to others. This even invalidates their tawaf That is a necessary part of Umrah which can be easily done from best Umrah Packages. It's a funny sight in areas near the steps, from where you climb down to the Mataaf, you see dozens of people standing in line, all of them with their cameras in position, like celebrity photographers.

Conclusion
